It is important to us to protect your privacy and your personal data. We process your data in accordance with the legal provisions applicable in Austria (DSGVO-Link).
The following data protection information provides you with information about how the data on our websites is processed. This privacy policy applies to all services and websites offered and operated by Galerie am Roten Hof e.U.
As a user of our digital services you are obliged to observe the provisions of the Data Protection Act. You agree to the use of your data for marketing and sales activities. You agree to receive information by telephone, e-mail (newsletter and mass mailings), text messages, postal services (invitations to trade fairs and gallery events, catalogs) etc. You can revoke this consent at any time.
PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING
When you visit our website, our web server automatically processes the data supplied by your browser. Data that you have actively and voluntarily transmitted, e.g. by surfing or by filling out the contact form, the newsletter subscription or by placing an order in our web store, will be stored for an indefinite period of time, but at least for as long as it is necessary to provide our services. The following data is stored:
- Date and time of the request
- Name of the accessed website
- IP address: is collected to define which country the connection comes from, allows in some cases to provide regional content.
- URL: identifies the subpages you have visited, allows you to see which subpages are particularly popular.
- Referrer: is transmitted by your browser and may contain information about which link on another website you have clicked to visit our website. We use this information to find out which websites link to our website.
- User Agent String: Your browser ID shows browser type and version and information about the technology you used to access our site (e.g., cell phone). This information can be used to optimize our website for the end device (e.g. mobile or desktop version; caching, loading time, ...).
Contact form and e-mail
If you contact us by filling out the contact form or sending an e-mail, we will save your data to process your request. In addition to the data you provide (e-mail, name, address, telephone number, etc.), we also save the text of your message and the attached files and photos. This data is stored for an indefinite period of time, but at least as long as it is necessary for the execution of our services. If you do not wish to receive any further messages, you can revoke the sending at any time.
NEWSLETTER
On our website you can subscribe to our newsletter, for which we need your e-mail address. By clicking the button "Subscribe to Newsletter" or by clicking the checkbox "Subscribe to Newsletter" you agree to receive our newsletter. If you subscribe to our newsletter service, we will save your e-mail address. You can provide further personal information by filling out our contact form with address etc. This data will be stored for an indefinite period of time, but at least as long as it is necessary to provide our services.
When you open our newsletter, we receive further data: Opening rate, opening rate of pages, browser used and IP address. We use this data to adapt our service to your needs. You can cancel the newsletter at any time. At the end of each newsletter you will find a "unsubscribe" button ("Unsubscribe newsletter"). By clicking this button your e-mail program will be triggered and you can send us an e-mail. This e-mail address will then be unsubscribed from our newsletter service.
ONLINE SHOP
You can order works of art in our webshop, for which we collect the following data: Title, name, address, e-mail address, company name, telephone number, additional notes, IP address. Mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk. No data will be saved if you cancel the purchase process. In the event that an order is completed, all data resulting from the ordering process will be stored for an indefinite period of time, but at least until the expiry of the tax retention period or as long as it is necessary for the performance of our services.
TRANSFER AND TRANSMISSION
If we transfer data to subcontractors (e.g. accounting, tax consulting, forwarding agents, insurance companies) in order to fulfill contractual obligations (e.g. sale of a work of art in our web store), these companies are also obliged to use the data securely under Austrian law (DSGVO). These data may only be used within the scope of the commissioned project.
TRANSMISSION OF DATA ON BEHALF OF AUSTRIAN AUTHORITIES
Should an Austrian authority order the release of data, e.g. in case of a legal dispute, we reserve the right to transfer data.
RIGHT TO INFORMATION AND DELETION

In some cases, a connection is made to Google, Facebook and Instagram Services. We have no knowledge of, and no influence on, what data is processed by these companies. Please refer to the privacy policies of Google and Facebook.
